Since 1994, the “denkmal” fair in Leipzig, Europe's Leading Trade Fair for Conservation, Restoration and Old Building Renovation, has consistently been the top location for excellent contacts and the international presentation of heritage conservation and restoration in Europe.
With 435 exhibitors from 17 countries along with 13,900 visitors, “denkmal 2016” impressively confirmed this trade fair’s unique position as Europe’s leading conservation, restoration and old building renovation event. The growing international importance of the “denkmal” fair for the conservation and preservation of our joint cultural heritage is underscored by the continuing patronage of UNESCO.
European Heritage Volunteers has been cooperating with the “denkmal” fair already since twenty years putting the focus on projects involving the young generation in activities for the preservation of heritage and those connecting heritage as the topic and volunteering as the instrument of engagement.

Additionally, the Heritage Times project had been launched during the “denkmal 2016”.
From November, 8th, to November, 10th, “denkmal 2018” presented itself for the 13th time as Europe’s leading fair for conservation, restoration and old building renovation and as an interdisciplinary podium for the industry’s very latest products, technical solutions and pioneering developments in these fields.
